Becca Thomases

Professor of Mathematical Sciences
Smith College

I study the mathematics of fluid motion, with an emphasis on complex fluids, computational modeling, and nonlinear dynamics.

My research combines mathematical analysis and numerical simulation to explore how fluids flow, deform, and organize.
